In this section I feature Romanian villages. Around half of Romanian’s live in rural villages, some far away from the nearest towns and here the life is agricultural based. Many families have animals and grow their own food, plus traditionally the Romanian house-wife spends many hours preparing natural additive free food in her kitchen for when the Husband returns home after a day in the fields and the children from school! Rural Romania is beautiful especially Bucovina in Suceava County.
You will have to learn to drive with great care on Romanian roads, yes even on main roads you will find horses and carts as in photographs below. Give them a wide berth when passing so as not to frighten the horse and cause an accident!
