Arad is an historic town dating back to 1028 in western Romania. The town is a major gateway to and from western Europe being only a few km away from border with Hungary. Arad is an industrial town with over 41% of its employment coming from the industrial sector alone.
The town center has many historic buildings along with modern shops, banks and restaurants, plus has a good tram & bus services alike.
